A quickie
Will be going back home, Malaysia in 5, 6 hours' time. I just had the best Philippino food last night...

Beef Steak Tagalog
I know that commonly, the perception of hotel food is that it's expensive and not as "tasty" as the outside food e.g. mamak.
But have you thought of the fact that the chef for a prestigious hotel such as the Intercontinental Hotel would be somebody who can really cook well? Especially the local dishes?
Well, based on my previous experimental gastronomical adventures to the "outside" restaurants, this one, last night, hotel-cooked, is the best thing I had eaten, not only for the past 4 days, but probably one of the best, ever.

I really don't know how to describe it... and the sauce is just so YUMMY!!! And this is like the first time I see a beef steak surrounded healthily by vegetables. Below is an example of a typical beef steak.

Initially I wanted to order the pork adobo... apparently a signature Philippino dish... but SOLD OUT! Wah lau eh... must have been too yummy until SOLD OUT... First time I hear hotel food being SOLD OUT... Dang... next time, IF there is a next time, I will definitely go for this local delight...

Fuuuaaah!! The hunka steak looks incredibly mouth-watering! I wonder how much better the pork adobo is judging by their presentation. Sure must've been tantalising as well. *drools*
Ok, ok...since you're back...where's my 7D mango??
I'll bet u'll love pork adobo, since it's all about babi... heh heh heh...
Let's meet up for lunch, when both of us are in town... since we are both suffering from travelitis... :P
Yeah hor. And our offices are not that far away. ok, lunch on you...anything ber-babi.
